Position Title: Non-Paid Internship

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Purpose: The mission of the Five Star Bank Intern Program is to develop and retain high-performing college students by offering structured learning opportunities and career development, culminating in leadership careers within our key growth areas. Our 8-10-week internship program is designed to give real world applications in various areas of the banking industry. Those selected will complete various tasks to acquire, develop, and exercise skills and insight related to their coursework and selected area of the bank. Students will work one on one with a high performing mentor and will have exposure to the bank's Executive Management Committee.
Please note, candidates who are selected for an internship position will be participating in a Hybrid work model including a mixture of remote and in-office work at Five Star Bank or an affiliate subsidiary company location (Courier Capital, LLC, HNP Capital, and SDN Insurance.)

- Proficient with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new and existing software programs
- Excellent collaborator and team player
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to regularly sit or stand for prolonged periods of time dependent upon responsibility being performed
- Extensive computer usage is required
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
- Occasional travel within Corporate footprint
