Nonprofits Sales Manager
Job Description
As the sales leader for our Go-to-Market program, the Sales Manager will develop an outbound strategy, implement best practices, drive business growth, and help scale our nonprofit sales program. You will manifest our culture and values, and lead a high-performing, impact-oriented, diverse, and inclusive team. Â
This role will be instrumental in launching and scaling our field sales team and leading our sales go-to-market strategy for the nonprofit sector. The right candidate will have a track record of success in Saas sales and sales management across Corporate and Enterprise.Â
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve
- Manage, hire, and scale Asana’s Nonprofit Sales team
- Lead strategic planning for your team, including territory planning, prospecting, deal strategy, and enablementÂ
- Define and develop our Nonprofit TerritoryÂ
- Participate directly in complex sales situations and negotiations
- Achieve ambitious targets quarter after quarter
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Product
- Establish and implement best practices for maximizing pipeline creation, forecasting accuracy, and Salesforce hygiene
- Work with external partners to scale our partner-led business in the sector
- Partner with social impact teams to drive alignment with Nonprofit customer business
About You
- 2+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B SaaS Sales, with experience working across SMB, Mid Market and Enterprise segments
- 3-5+ years in a quota-carrying roleÂ
- Experience building an outbound sales process and managing both for growth and account management
- A passion for coaching and developing world-class talent
- Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, integrity
- An aptitude for problem-solving and developing creative solutions
- Participated in a rapidly scaling business
- Enjoy working cross-functionally and building strong relationships with partners
- You have a passion for driving impact and making the world a better place

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.Â
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $167,000-$213,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
