Job Description
The North America Channel Manager leads and transforms our market access strategy in North America which makes Rockwell Automation, our Authorized Distributor Partners and Customers more productive. This role aligns and influences both internal and external resources to execute in alignment with this strategy. The NA Channel Manager provides domain expertise and consultative insight for the North America geographic sales organization. The NA Channel Manager collaborates with field sales leadership in all segments and at all levels to ensure evolution, execution and performance of our market access model.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the HQ segment partnership with the field channel team on the development and implementation of channel strategies and execution priorities within the regions.
- Responsible for driving awareness and adoption of strategies internally and externally including: Services First Culture, Omni-Channel Customer Experience, Connected Supply Chain, Partner Ecosystem, Sales Excellence.
- Align strategies with outcomes of sustainable growth, productivity and market share.
- Responsible for consistent implementation of RA distributor policies, messages, and programs throughout North America in alignment of our Market Access 2025 strategy.
- Responsible for coordination of appropriate Advisory Councils and Task Forces that align with channel priorities, including internal and external executive stakeholder alignment and communication.
- Lead external alignment with industry organizations (e.g. NAED, EFC) & strategic partners (e.g. Supply Force).
- Develop and retain relationships with distributors at all levels with a focus at a mid- and senior leadership.
- Manage the effective utilization of channel management resources.
- Actively engaged with sales managers and team lead selection, coaching, and performance management.
- Support the channel segment in the field with planning, coordinating and resolving channel conflicts.
- Facilitate teaming within our N.A. regions to support consistent implementation of best practices and execution priorities.
- Be part of solution team for distributors on issue escalation.
- Lead field sales channel competency development by investing time and resources for both formal and informal training, onboarding strategies, development opportunities and employee retention.
- This includes competency in appropriate market access policies, processes, skills and messaging.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, IT, Business or related field
- 5 years of related professional experience and 3 years working within the Rockwell channel environment
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups.
- Proven ability to manage multiple internal and external partner relationships while achieving targeted outcomes.
