NPI Program Manager

As a New Product Introduction Program Manager at Boston Dynamics, you will join a team of engineers producing extremely high-quality hardware on groundbreaking robots going out into the world. How you will make an impact:

• Support the development of the manufacturing strategy for new products as they are developed. Develop options and build quantitative trade studies.
• Serve as a technical expert to scope out resources needed to deliver new designs into production
• Coordinate cross functional activities and resource/capacity planning with a focus on deliverables and milestones, adapting quickly to changing priorities
• Effectively report changes to timelines, resource allocation, and expectations to all stakeholders
• Support sourcing decision making by helping to evaluate alternative manufacturing processes and propose DFM/DFx changes to support lower cost manufacturing
• Evaluate Supply chain options and help to guide souring and partner selection early in development
• Plan and track the product developments and coordinate their implementation in production

We are looking for:

• BS in an engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in a product manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain management
• Experience with imaging and sensing technologies
• Experience managing challenging assignments with aggressive schedules
• Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with rapid development cycles while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
• Korean Language skill a plus
