NPI Technician

Lunar Energy is a fast-growing, global company dedicated to transitioning homes to 100% clean energy. We are seeking an Assembly Technician for a contract position to join our team. As an Assembly Technician at Lunar, you will play a crucial role in building the world's best clean energy products and contributing to the electrification of homes and the creation of resilient virtual power plants.

On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…

  • Assemble components and subassemblies according to engineering specifications
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure product integrity and adherence to standards
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and product performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and ESD awareness
  • Proficient knowledge of wire harness assembly/installation/wiring

Desired Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes

Our Compensation Philosophy:

The hourly rate for this position is $40-50hr USD, depending on level of experience. The actual offer, including total compensation, will be determined based on various factors, including experience, location, and business considerations.
