Nurse Practitioner | Cardiology

Location: Cardiovascular Associates of Virginia at St. Francis Medical Center, Midlothian, VA
Position: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Patient Load: Average of 10-20 patients per day

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient/Outpatient Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage inpatient cardiology consultations as well as outpatient follow-up and transition of care for cardiology patients. You will work closely with both Non-Invasive and Interventional cardiologists, ensuring seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inpatient consultations and manage patient care throughout their hospital stay.
• Oversee outpatient follow-up visits and facilitate transitions of care for cardiology patients.
• Collaborate with a collegial team of cardiologists and support staff to enhance patient care.
• Practice at the fullest extent of your license, utilizing your expertise in cardiology.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing program.
• Active certification as a Nurse Practitioner 
• Preferably, 1+ years of experience in cardiology.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
