Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant / Pulmonology | Sleep Medicine

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Pulmonary in Lima, Ohio is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our busy practice. We offer a family-oriented environment and positive culture where teamwork is valued and quality care for our patients is our top priority.

Position Highlights:

• Absorb a current patient panel in a growing practice.
• Evaluate and treat ambulatory patients in the outpatient clinic.
• Pulmonary & Sleep are currently in the same office.
• Take first call as needed during the week.
• Respond to patient phone calls during office hours, manage in-basket & patient results.
• Weekend inpatient hospital rounding treating current Pulmonary patients & new consults 1:6-7.
• Work 1 holiday/year, rounding & call.
• Evaluate and treat inpatient follow-ups.
• Off-site Clinics –Sidney, OH & Celina, OH
• Limited 1-2 nights of call per week from 4:30 PM to 8 AM (Fewer than 10 calls on average)
• Not mandatory
• Adult and Geriatric patient base
• Work with Medical Students and Residents
• Strong physician collaboration

• Certified by the NCCPA for Physician Assistant or
• Certified by AANP or like certification for Nurse Practitioners.
• Licensure with the state of Ohio as a PA-C or CNP.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
