JOB DESCRIPTION OF O365 ENGINEER.
- Experience in different Microsoft products including Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, Office 365, and MS office suites.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures for O365
- Designed, configured, implemented, and maintained an enterprise messaging environment including office 365, and Exchange 2019/2016/2013.
- Advance knowledge and use of Powershell for scripting and automation
- Deployed and implemented the different roles in the Microsoft Exchange environment: Edge transport, Mailbox, CAS array, Hub Transport, and unified messaging.
- Responsible for all components of Office 365 including one drive, Teams, yammer, and SharePoint.
- Design and support migration efforts from multiple source environment technologies to corporate standard infrastructure. Background in Quest OnDemand and BitTitan solutions
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, policy creation, and 3rd party integration
- Expertise in providing solutions for High Availability in Exchange.
- Planning, configuring and managing Messaging security, Administrative security, and auditing.
- Experience in Monitoring, and troubleshooting the server using tools such as event viewer, MMC, Exchange Management shell, and power shell.
- Experience Office 365 migrations and hybrid solutions.
- Expertise in migration of Microsoft messaging technologies to newer versions.
- Migration from ON - premises to Online Office 365
- Knowledge in Synchronizing directories from On-premises to Office 365 using different Identities as per business needs
- Experience in Security and Compliance by Managing Data loss prevention and Data governance.
- Proficient in message tracking and troubleshooting to resolve mail delivery issues.
- Support assistance in public folder creation, replication, rights assignments, free busy related issues, offline address book, and Calendaring services.
- Expertise in configuring and deploying ATP, DLP, and Threat Protection Policies for SPAM, PHISH, and Malware
- Strong knowledge of email security framework DKIM, DMARC, and SPF
Basic Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in IT and/or IT-related field
- Experience with on-premise to O365 cloud solutions, Skype for Business, MS Teams
- Strong knowledge of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DKIM records
- Strong knowledge and use of PowerShell
- Proven experience in supporting a variety of IT infrastructure projects and interfacing with business leaders. Ability to lead large, complex projects with cross-business unit project teams and suppliers.
- Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and technical skills are essential.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, be a team player, meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
- Individuals must be highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
