OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity – Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), Wilkes-Barre, PA

No On-Call Requirement | Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available

About Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center: Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) is a comprehensive 243-bed acute care and surgical facility that provides advanced maternity services. With a Level III NICU, the center is staffed 24/7 by a team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and other specialists to ensure top-quality neonatal care. GWV manages approximately 2,000 annual deliveries and has in-house anesthesia, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) support. The facility uses EPIC for electronic medical records.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule:
  • Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts in a 28-day block
  • Part-Time: 1 to 4 24-hour shifts in a 28-day block

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing unassigned deliveries and OBED patients
• Providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with in-house anesthesia, MFM, and CNM teams

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active medical license
