OBGYN Generalist and Laborist
Job Description
They are looking for an OBGYN Generalist, Laborist (1-2), CNM and NP.
Laborists will be expected to do 3-4 12 hr. calls weekly/12-16 12hrs calls monthly (they may consider a schedule of 2 24-hour calls weekly/8 24hr. shifts monthly). The group will work with candidates on schedule (ie: they will be flexible so if candidate wants to do the call in 2-3 weeks, they could have 1-3 weeks off a month). They do expect Laborists to do some nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule. Since midwifery is embedded in their practice, Laborist would be backing up CNM and be responsible for the emergent GYN as well. They would be covering the groupโs patients only and no unassigned patients. There is no office or clinic coverage, it is straight hospital coverage. They are competitive on hourly pay and will also cover malpractice and benefits.
Generalist will join 15 others working out of several offices in the county and physicians working out of the main office and 2-3 satellite offices. Offices are fully equipped and have in-house Lab and Ultrasound services. The physician shares a 12-hour call and if on day call they are in the office, if at night call is taken in-house. They admit to a brand-new facility that has a level III NICU and all services in-house including anesthesia and MFM. They are the only OBGYN group providing OB services there. They are integrated with a midwifery program and the practice does over 2000 deliveries, most of which are done by the CNMs with provider support. The physicians take call in conjunction with the CNMs. The salary is negotiable and DOE.
CNM position involves working with 11 CNMs and 15 OBGYN physicians in a fast-paced collegial setting attending to most of the practiceโs vaginal births. They are looking for a CNM focused on providing quality patient care. They are looking for someone interested in working FT taking 1st or 2nd call, doing prenatal care in the office, and being available some rotating evenings and Saturdays.
WHNP position involves working with 6 NPs doing a combination of GYN and OB with a focus on providing quality patient care in an office setting. Responsibilities include annual well-women visits, birth control, family planning, pre-and post-natal care, menopausal and STD management, and patient education. Candidates should have a working knowledge of physical assessment, ambulatory procedures, and the ability to interpret Lab results. Hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional rotating evening or Saturday am hours.
Benefits include PTO, Health for self and family, Life, Dental, Vision, Long and Short-Term Disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, EAP, and FMLA.
