OBGYN Laborist

Local women’s health care group committed to providing quality medical services is looking for 2-3 OBGYN Hospitalists to join their growing Hospitalist program and work with their 11 OBGYN Physicians covering in-house hospitalist call averaging between 6-8 24-hour shifts monthly. The Hospitalist will cover 1 of their 2 admitting hospitals, both community-based hospitals with level III nurseries, and all sub-specialty support in-house. In addition to covering the practice's patients, the Hospitalist will be expected to provide coverage for the ED and L&D. They will provide patient assessment and triage, coordinate care with the patient's OB/GYN, care for unassigned patients, perform emergency deliveries, assist with surgical procedures, and provide OB/GYN consultation for inpatients and patients in the Emergency Department as needed.

This group would also consider candidates interested in a "hybrid" position with 2 - 3 office days weekly and a few 24-hour in-house Hospitalist shifts monthly.
