Job Description
Our OB/Gyn offices offer full-service women’s health care. Services include traditional Well Woman Exams, along with diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions including abnormal pap smears, bleeding disorders, infertility, menopause, STDs, PMS, contraceptive needs and more. Our OB/Gyn’s also strive to make pregnancy, delivery and postpartum experiences safe, comfortable and natural.
About The OB/Gyn Clinic:
"Traditional" OB/Gyn practice offering opportunity for hospitalist and OP care.
1:7 call for inpatient and delivery needs- currently establishing OB hospitalist program.
Practice has nurse call coverage for afterhours patient calls
The Physician must be American Board certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and must possess a valid State of Texas medical license. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence, quality, and patient satisfaction. The Shannon Women’s and Children’s Hospital is a multi-level facility and currently at 100,000 sq ft. with two gyn OR rooms with two robotic units. The units include a Level II Labor & Delivery, Level II Special Care Nursery, Mother/Baby, Gynecology, and Pediatrics. The expansion, completed in Fall 2023, is focused on consolidating services as well as focusing on expanding to a Level III maternal and neonatal care in the future.
Qualifications: Shannon Clinic is seeking a BC/BE OB/Gyn who is a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills to join our exceptional team in beautiful San Angelo, TX. Shannon is locally owned, governed, and not-for-profit organization. We are the sole healthcare system in San Angelo and surrounding cities.
