Observability AI Lead

Observe is a SaaS Observability tool that enables Engineering and DevOps teams to troubleshoot modern distributed applications 10x faster. Our platform ingests any machine-generated data (logs, metrics, traces, etc.) and shapes and links arbitrary data resources using our custom language OPAL. To enable our customers to write efficient OPAL, we have recently introduced a chatbot and a co-pilot to convert natural language to OPAL statements.

Our vision is to automate the debugging process using AI features so that the DevOps engineers can focus on resolving incidents and are guided to a quick resolution by our platform. We are looking for senior engineers to drive the development in this area from an early proof of concept to product. You will have massive amounts of of data at your fingertips and cutting edge problems to solve in applied AI and machine learning. As one of the first engineers in this space, you will have freedom to drive our company’s direction for the years to come and will report directly to the Head of Platform & AI in the US.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Masters or PhD in a relevant field, e.g., in Computer Science / Mathematics at least 3 years of industry experience using ML data pipelines, training generative AI models, tuning and deploying them deep and applied understanding of generative AI fundamentals (deep learning, embeddings, transformers, etc.). Experience in the observability space is a plus and experience working in international teams is a plus.
