Job Title: GIS Analyst
Location: Washington, DC 20003 (Onsite)
Type: Contract - 6 Months (probability of extension)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Meets minimum requirements of 6 yrs of work experience and Degree or equivalent - Required - 6 Years
- Strong hands-on experience in GIS technologies related to data production - 3 Years
- Experience with Esri GIS tools including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online - 3 Years
- Experience in producing high quality data products complete with metadata - 3 Years
- Experience with quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of data products - 3 Years
- Working knowledge of GIS techniques incl. map prod., geometry (point/line/polygon) editing (COGO), geocoding, (addressing & property/cadastral data) - 3 Years
- Experience with SQL database queries and geospatial relationship queries - 3 Years
- Experience with creating effective and aesthetically sound cartographic outputs - 3 Years
- Experience with data management and metadata - 3 Years
- Experience working with enterprise and file geodatabases - 3 Years
- Experience utilizing aerial photography data - Highly desired - 1 Year
- Experience working with planimetric data - Highly desired - 1 Year
- Experience with Python scripting - Highly desired - 1 Years
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Computer Science or Planning, or related field or equivalent experience
- Certified GIS Professional (GISP)
Required Skills
- Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in GIS technologies related to data production
