Office Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Office Administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This job is on-site 5 days a week at our Baytown office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- DISA background checks
- Keeping up with Safety Council Classes / Setting up classes
- Badge Request Forms
- Building Job Books
- Assist all my employees with HR questions / Be the face for New Hires
- Order equipment for jobs / Needs to be on construction letter for each job
- Payroll / Schedule
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Two to Three years of experience in an administrative role.
- Microsoft Excel expertise is a must
- DISA Experience Preferred
- ADP Experience Preferred
