Your Role
As the Office Coordinator, you are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficiently run office. People, process, and critical thinking is your specialty. You’re a team player who knows how to lead by example. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced, high-energy professional, and collaborative work environment. This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Identifying and resolving any issues in inventory management and processes
- Responsible for managing essential elements of the physical office environment.
- Establish and implement office procedures and practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for work requests from local building management and other vendors, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Develop and nurture relationships with third-party vendors, including sourcing new vendors and troubleshooting issues, with the aim of achieving cost savings.
- Responsible for ordering, restocking, and maintaining office, bathroom, and kitchen supplies to ensure availability and organization.
- Provide light receptionist duties when required, such as welcoming guests and checking for incoming voicemails on the phone system.
- Availability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week on site, ensuring operational coverage during designated times.
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- 2+ years of experience in a project management role, or similar role with the ability to manage complex projects
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel with strong data entry skills
- High level of attention to detail
- JIRA, QuickBase, and Zendesk experience or similar ticketing platforms preferred
