Office Coordinator

The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

We are seeking an energetic and organized Office Coordinator to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our workplace environment. This role focuses on managing day-to-day office operations, including vendor management, event planning, and office supply coordination, while also contributing to a positive company culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating a welcoming and efficient workspace, ensuring that both the practical and social needs of the office are met.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning: Organize and execute company culture events, Friday lunches, and special celebrations to foster team spirit and engagement.
• Swag Management: Oversee the sourcing, inventory, and distribution of company-branded swag and promotional items.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors for office supplies, snacks, beverages, and other essential items, ensuring timely ordering and delivery.
• Facility Management: Coordinate office maintenance and site improvement projects, including decorative items and other enhancements to create a welcoming environment.
• Office Supplies Coordination: Manage the inventory of office supplies, sourcing and ordering items as needed to maintain a well-equipped workplace.
• Tour Coordination: Potentially conduct tours of the office for visitors, showcasing the company’s culture and workspace.
