Please note that this role is hybrid and will require the person to be Boston based / Greater Boston based and willing and able to commute to our office in the Seaport district 2-3 times a week.

The Role:

We are looking for a versatile Office Administrator/HR Associate to be responsible for the general operation of our office. This valuable role in our fast-growing company will be the initial contact for visitors, vendors, business partners and employees(local or ones who might be visiting). This role will also include additional responsibilities such as purchasing office supplies, taking proper inventory and much more!

What You'll Do:

  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory including snacks and coffee 
  • General administrative and assistance tasks (manage mail, etc)
  • Provide general support to visitors and employees 
  • Organize and schedule company-wide meetings and employee events 
  • Assist with travel management including booking and accounting of business trips, as well as travel expense processing
  • Lead HR/benefits orientation and process background checks for new hire onboarding
  • Help support and lead employee engagement activities and initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for the HR Department including maintaining accurate employee records and data within the HRIS system
  • Liaise with vendors for repairs, improvements and cleaning 
  • Point person for shipping requests including swag and IT equipment  
  • Assist with pre boarding and onboarding for all new hires 

About You:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in an Office Manager, Admin Assistant or similar type position
  • Experience working at a high growth company where responsibilities will switch quickly on the fly
  • Enthusiasm and interest in helping support Employee Engagement initiatives and activities
  • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Proficient with G-suite products
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a self starter
