The MycoWorks Office Manager plays a vital role in making MycoWorks an epic place to work. This is the person that our employees, leaders, guests and visitors will rely on to ensure our office runs smoothly, efficiently and with a lot of heart, creating the systems and standards we’ll use to launch offices at our future locations.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Handle day to day site needs of personnel, facilities and logistics for Union manufacturing plant
- Point person for tours, events, visitors and vendors at Union manufacturing plant
- Support People team in producing, scheduling and communications for employee events and experiences, including onboarding
- Manage security access control systems, including distributing and tracking badges and keys
- Oversee all workplace-related initiatives such as weekly snacks and lunches, office/bathroom/kitchen supplies, office upkeep, and liaising with the facilities and security departments and third party vendors
- Point of contact for all office related inquiries from employees and visitors
- Ensure all office equipment is in good working order
- Manage meeting room schedules
- Assist in planning and coordinating office events
- Anticipate office and new site needs, creating and implementing scalable solutions
- Send, receive, and organize incoming packages/mail
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
QualificationsÂ
- 5+ years experience in senior administrative roleÂ
- Experience in 2+ startup venturesÂ
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills ( written, verbal and active listening)
- Able to work with people of all levels within the organization
- At least basic knowledge of G-Suite, Expensify, Concur, Monday.com and Slack is a plus.Â
- Deadline- and detail-oriented, proactive and able to anticipate, identify and address obstacles quickly and efficiently
- Strategic approach to planning, optimizing and launching systems around organization, inventory, communications and recurring purchases and responsibilities.
