Overview
We are Divine Employment Services; we provide optimal employment support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to provide support and assistants for our clients through pre-employment, job development, employment support, vocational training, volunteerism, and self-advocacy. Our goal is to empower each individual we serve and assist them to reach their greatest potential through the independence of employment.
Responsibilities
β’ Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment
β’ Assure transportation and accommodation and in place for clients
β’ Report complaints, and queries
β’ Maintain all required documentation and reports
β’ Maintaining procedures
β’ Attending meetings with Office Manager or Company meetings/trainings
β’ Initiate verbal and written warnings for Divine Clients
β’ Attend disciplinary meetings when required
β’ Assist with clients on worksites as needed
β’ Assist with pre-employment, job development, employment support, vocational training, volunteerism, and self-advocacy awareness.
β’ Facilitate groups with clients on a 1:1 to a 1:6 ratio
β’ Complete COVID-19 protocol screenings and assessment.
β’ Participate in the planning and implementation of treatment plans.
β’ Chart and report any significant changes in condition and general progress of clients.
β’ Complete daily documentation on clients.
β’ Complete all Daily and Quarterly documentations, Special Incident Reports, and directive by scheduled deadlines in place by the company or management.
β’ Comply and document all SCLARC, DDS, and HIPAA compliance requirements.
β’ Participates in Team an ISP meetings.
β’ Communicate with clients to understand their goals.
β’ Create an effective Daily, Weekly or Monthly agenda/plan for assigned caseload.
β’ Assist clients to discover and overcome their personal barriers and job task deficiencies.
β’ Motivate the client.
β’ Provide on-site employment support (Job Coaching).
β’ Advise on workplace accommodations for people with disabilities.
β’ Monitor, evaluate, and document the progress of clients.
β’ Mobility Training (public transportation / access)
β’ Providing extensive support to the clients that requires the service
β’ All other duties signed
Experience
β’ AA degree or 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
β’ Driverβs License and Insurance from the state of California
β’ Immediate access to an operable vehicle with functioning seat belts
β’ Maintain current CPR and First Aid Certification
β’ Provide a current Negative TB test
β’ Must pass a DOJ or Federal background check
β’ Ability to adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures
β’ Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
β’ Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β’ Proficient in writing ability including grammar usage, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary
β’ Strong organizational and planning skills
β’ Proficient in MS Office
β’ Knowledgeable of the Companies Vision
β’ Professionalism
β’ Maintain Consumer files and information
β’ Typing Skills
β’ The ability to work well with others and independently
β’ Knowledge of employment law
β’ Serve as a role model for Divine Employment Services.
β’ Participates in any agency required training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
