Job Description

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

  • Oversee and manage global immigration programs and procedures to ensure compliance with international laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners such as immigration attorneys and relocation service providers.
  • Counsel senior management and human resources on complex immigration issues and develop strategic solutions.
  • Stay updated on immigration policies worldwide and understand how changes can impact the company.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the global immigration team.
  • Ensure efficient processes are in place to expedite the immigration process.
  • Manage the budget for the global immigration department.
  • Design and deliver training programs to HR and hiring teams about global immigration processes and changes.
  • Prepare regular reports to senior management on immigration statuses, issues, and trends.
  • Build a strategy that allows balance between compliance and improving employee experience through immigration processes for OFSE.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to advise on best practices regarding immigration processes tied to talent moves.
  • Strategically develop and manage cost-conscious programs and regularly update progress/results to management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in HR, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in global immigration management or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
