What You'll Do
Reporting directly to the Walmart Senior Sales Director, the Omni National Account Manager is a critical team member in driving Munchkin's efforts across our relationships with Walmart's omni business. The Omni National Account Manager is responsible for delivering profitable sales growth across Walmart's omni business and executing best-in-class customer partnership and collaboration to develop sustainable, long-lasting relationships with Walmart Merchant, Walmart Connect, and Site Merchant teams. This position will own the Munchkin digital experience on Walmart.com, define assortment, content optimization, promotional strategies, digital shelving, and PDP development to drive both in-store and online demand. They maintain distribution, drive innovation and influence others to obtain resources to help Munchkin win at Walmart. They will drive mutually profitable sales volume for Munchkin and Walmart and are responsible for POS, category and brand share, promotional and feature management, accurate forecasting, sales presentation development and distribution expansion that achieves customer and company objectives. The ONAM will also leverage retail & eCommerce best practices and fundamentals to identify top opportunities for Munchkin across Walmart Omni and drive strong shopper engagement and conversion on Walmart.com. They will partner with Walmart buyers on Joint Business Plans, Strategy Reviews, Line Reviews, and meet the day to day needs to deliver on these opportunities. This role will collaborate with other members of the Walmart Inc. team to manage and deliver growth and financial targets across Walmart Stores, Walmart.com, and OPD. This role will be based in the Bentonville, Arkansas area and will report to the Walmart Senior Sales Director.
  • Development of programs designed to drive aggressive sales volume growth for our Walmart Omni business.
  • Develop Walmart omni customer strategy and business objectives; manage KPI achievement to deliver goals through detailed analysis, customer management, and shelf leadership.
  • Oversee the Sales forecast internally and externally through portfolio management, partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Planning team to meet operational targets such as turnover, category growth, margin, and competitive share growth.
  • Own all direct contact with Walmart Omni Merchants across baby hardlines and address specific requests/requirements.
  • New item setup in I360 and deliver first to market launches of new items on Walmart.com minimum of 6 weeks prior to in-store modular placement.
  • Load rich-media content on PDPs, include above-the-fold images and videos and below-the-fold enhanced content to establish +95% content score on all items on Walmart.com.
  • Understand Walmart's strategies/roadmaps, organization, operations, shoppers, capabilities, and ways of working to win with the retailer in ecommerce.
  • Collaborate with Walmart Senior Sales Director, Marketing Team, and Trade Marketing team to develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans, Strategy Reviews and Line Reviews at Walmart.
  • Educate pertinent cross-functional members of Munchkin leadership team on key aspects of Walmart's business and needs.
  • Ensure product keyword listings and product page content are optimized for search rankings across all Munchkin's Baby Hardline products on Walmart.com.
  • Apply operational precision and leverage analytics to make sound, data-driven decisions, and fact-based selling to Walmart.
  • Interface with Walmart Omni Merchants regularly to deliver the joint plan and be Walmart's partner of choice.
  • Develop and communicate omni business results to the company and customer on an agreed cadence, identifying insights and action steps to improve business performance.
  • Acquire an understanding of key customer needs and build competencies in requirements to win.
  • Ensure all plans are omni-channel through collaboration and inputs to/from Walmart Merchant Team, Marketing Team, and Trade Marketing Team.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and improve brand distribution, representation, and discoverability on Walmart.com.
  • Drive customer engagement through long-range planning and the advancement of sustainable category growth strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide insights and recommendations for the customer and internal team on Munchkin Baby Hardlines products, competition, and market intelligence.

Bring It!
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years Walmart experience required in sales management experience, 1-2 years managing Walmart.com.
  • Strong focus on results, capable of identifying and tracking critical metrics, identifying key opportunities, develop and execute plans to address.
  • Deep understanding of Walmart buying, merchandising and feature strategies; able to translate insights into action plans to grow the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to use multiple information sources to develop sales strategies and tactics, as well as effectively manage promotional activity.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Nielsen data, Retail Link, Syndigo, and Item 360.
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills, proven ability to work on multiple assignments at once.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong passion to win and must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Superior sales, communication, organization, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Minimal travel required.

Salary range: $85,000 - $115,000
