POSITION SUMMARY

The OMS Programmer Analyst contributes to the strategic objectives of the IT Division as a developer. This position is responsible for design, development, support, and maintenance of the organization's cloud- based Order Management applications. The position calls for this individual to work closely with cross-functional resources to ensure proper solution design and integrity of OMS modules. The Individual will also apply proven communication, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of OMS in the company. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Determine business requirements, analyze and design application systems.
• Design and write application programs.
• Prepare all required documentation for the portion of work assigned and provide reporting to management as required.
• Provide technical assistance and problem resolution to clients for assigned applications.
• Troubleshoot application and technical issues.
• Plan, develop and conduct unit, string and systems assurance tests.
• Off-hour, on-call responsibilities will be required as needed to support business needs and/or project requirements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Two-year college degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Sterling Order Management in the Cloud (OMoC).
• Development experience in any of the following:
  
  • Java language
  • Eclipse environment
  • GIT source control
  • DB2 SQL
  • Cygwin
  • Winscp
  • Linux
  • VMWare
• Intermediate knowledge of web technologies such as XML, Web Services and JSON a plus.
• Experience debugging and unit testing black box type environments.
• Proficient in the writing and understanding of functional and technical specifications.
• Experience designing and developing systems including writing and modifying programs, unit testing and systems analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.
