OMS Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced OMS Engineer to oversee the development, implementation and support of our Order Management System using IBM Sterling DOM. As the lead, you will be responsible for designing,

developing, and maintaining highly scalable, robust solutions using Java, Spring, microservices and Apache Kafka. Your role involves helping a team of engineers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain microservices-based architecture using java and Spring Boot.
• Oversee the Integration of Sterling OMS with various subsystems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers.
• QA to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability and reliability with a focus on system uptime and customer experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development lifecycle by proposing technical solutions and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in IBM Sterling OMS.
• Extensive experience in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
