We are currently seeking a hands-on OMS Solutions Architect with enterprise product knowledge (cloud platform knowledge is a PLUS). The ideal candidate has advanced experience with AWS, MYSQL, MSSQL, and eCommerce. You will be responsible for implementing the roadmap for Order Management System enhancement and modernization and help existing optimization and new feature implementation.

YOU WILL:

• Build new features and APIs for CarParts.com headless commerce system.
• Deliver quality code supported by good documentation and tests
• Maintain the existing modules and microservices.
• Follow industry best practices.
• Build scalable and maintainable features.
• Collaborate with offshore team
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes needed.
• Develop APIs required for upstream and downstream applications.
• Peer reviewing Merge requests
• Mentor & assist team for solving technical problems.
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
• Ensure new implementation is as per Organization's technical standards
• Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 10+ years of experience in LAMP technologies.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Expert knowledge of PHP 7 and PHP 8 features
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Lumen
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing REST APIs.
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new features
• Strong OpenAPI and API design experience
• Experience with docker containers.
• Comfortable debugging large applications and refactoring them to well-tested components and services.
• Experience with debugging and profiling locally and inside docker container
• Experienced in agile processes and CI/CD builds and deployments.
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
• Experience in Node & React.js is plus.
• Experience in any NOSQL technologies like Mongodb, Dyanmoddb, Couchdb is plus
