On-Call Stylist

THE ROLE: On-Call Stylist

The Photo Stylist is responsible for pre-production, production and post production for both Rue La La and Gilt content. This role works to maintain creative styling quality for both product and digital asset production. They will work collaboratively with photographers, stylists and art directors.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning more about the world of e-commerce and fashion! Anticipated working hours will be 16-20 hours per week, anytime between 7:00 AM & 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday) in our Shepherdsville, KY studio.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with the art directors, photographer, and set team members to execute the creative vision for all digital assets and ensure flawless execution on a daily basis. 
• Styling clothing on model in a high-pace e-commerce environment. Staying up to date with brand knowledge and fashion trends.
• Assist team members with styling and prop closet strategy in advance of each season. 
• Ensure content adheres to internal and external style guides.
• Maintain vendor packaging, sku tags, apparel tags, and noting any damages that may have occurred throughout the production process.
• Ability to work with a team to accomplish deadlines and production efficiency.
• Flexible and able to handle last minute changes in the moment. 

 Physical Requirements: 

• Standing for up to 10 hours
• Must be willing and able to frequently squat, bend, stoop, and reach for up to 10 hours.

• 4+ years of experience as a Stylist in a high volume production studio, preferably with an emphasis on fashion or home. 
• Proven experience collaborating with a photographer and art director 
• Strong experience working with models, sets, and props
• Deep understanding of digital photography, production studio pace and efficiency
• Background in art, design, fashion, merchandising or photography
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
