The Consumer Service Operations Representative 3 is responsible for the daily activities across multiple service functions area. The Consumer Service Operations Representative 3 performs advanced The Consumer Service Op administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.

Where you Come In

The On-Site Person Customer Service Representative will work in one of our centers in Metairie, LA assisting members as they come in with claims issues, enrollment questions, may perform installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment and eligibility and claims processing. Investigates and settles claims and customer service issues. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. You will need to have strong communication and customer service skills along with solid typing and computer skills.

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed • Minimum of 2 year commitment in this role if hired

• You will need to work on-site in Metairie, this is not a remote/virtual position.

• Previous inbound and/or outbound call center or related customer service experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and Word

• Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills

• Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new technology, systems and applications

• Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems

• The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

• Ability to travel to within and around Metairie area guidance centers as needed

• For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Preferred Qualifications• High School Diploma, GED or job related certification• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree• Previous healthcare experience• Clerical support background in a healthcare environment• Familiarity with medical terminology• Medicare experience

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
