Onboarding and Ramp Manager

For someone who truly loves guiding the success of revenue teams, this is a dream come true role. In this role, you will come to DataGrail to develop, design, and roll out an onboarding program that runs from day 1 to the end of their sixth month in their SDR, AE, CSM, and SC roles. You will be developing a program that gives them the data privacy knowledge to speak on a peer to peer level with our prospects and customers, the product understanding that helps them communicate and learn the Why Change, Why Now, Why DG to prospects and customers, and the sales skills that they need to be successful. This program will incorporate e-learning, virtual learning via Zoom, live bootcamps, a solid certification, and coaching for their first six months.

The Skill Set:

• Develop e-learning modules that revenue teams actually enjoy! This likely comes from some traditional L&D methodologies like an understanding of ADDIE, etc.
• Facilitate sessions that encourage the entire room to participate. You know how to draw people in, and enjoy learning.
• Create certification programs that are difficult to pass, but tied to the knowledge and skills that will ensure that our revenue teams are best in class and successful.
• Understand how to use Change Management to drive new behaviors and skills.
• Have a deep love of sales.

• Have a good understanding of our buyer persona, product value, why Data Privacy is a human right, and what the Why Change/Why Now/ Why Us of our prospects and customers.
• Be fully immersed in our culture.
• Have started creating e-learning modules. We are building this airplane while we fly it, so you will be excited to jump in sooner than later (with support, of course).
• Will be leading our New Hire collaboration series via live sessions to help them meet each other, share with each other, and build a team environment.
• Will be a Gong Superstar, learning where our new hires need support (via both individual coaching and modules).
• Determine “what good looks like” by segment and function. Benchmark and measure what the leading indicators are for onboarding and ramp.

• Have created a data driven onboarding program that ensures that our revenue team:

  • Feels: That they have joined the right company and they are set up for success

  • Knows: the buyer persona, the competitive landscape, the sales process, our solution, and enough about data privacy to educate our buyers

  • Are able to: Successfully do their role.

• Be tracking SDR and AE performance based on both productivity and performance metrics, and confirming if our leading indicators are leading to success.
