The Onboarding Capabilities team plays a critical role in delivering data-oriented solutions that automate and accelerate the pre-sale, onboarding, enablement, and payment phases of the customer journey. The vision of the B2B data ecosystem is to intelligently organize supplier and buyer data in one place, provide a platform of common services that can be used consistently by end user applications and scale B2B payments by removing friction during the supplier enablement process.

The Onboarding Capabilities Analyst will be responsible for supporting quantitative-based decision support to our onboarding capabilities product teams. This role has a broad range and acts as a program-wide subject matter expert to help develop data-driven diagnostics, data sharing strategies, and data transformation analysis. As such, they should be capable of performing analysis of large data sets to help drive business results.

This individual will also work with cross-functional teams including planning, product, user experience, engineering, and users in an agile environment-test/learn/improve-to continuously review business needs, find opportunities, and mitigate risks. The successful candidate will be equally proficient in B2B payments and software development strategies (i.e., can speak to the differences between APIs, batch processing, and event sourcing).

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Perform SQL, Hive, and other database queries
  • Help drive the development of data dashboards and visualizations
  • Present data-driven insights to leadership in an effective manner
  • Partner with Product Team to help advise on capability design - i.e., APIs, data requirements, etc.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining status updates, newsletters, and capability design recommendation templates
  • Contribute to data strategy, identifying where existing data is a competitive advantage and where we have gaps
  • Provide data portfolio subject matter expertise when working with internal and external data sources to drive successful product and feature recommendations, which includes assessing gaps, managing testing, and driving launch decisions
  • Work with Product to create a generation of innovative ideas based on market analytics and interactions with partners, clients, and prospects
  • Think "horizontally" to identify and create opportunities for cross-organization integration that would deliver an exceptional experience for our clients and partners
  • Combine data analysis skills with strategic thinking to create unique solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Hold a quantitative background, high proficiency in Excel, knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Has both the ability and passion to easily articulate how data can be applied as an advantage
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business understanding with a consistent record of accomplishment of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mentality
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • 1+ years of experience in product development or data analytics
  • Experience with higher Excel functions, SQL, Hive and/or Python
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially when communicating data-driven insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relative experience
  • Knowledge of Agile/Speed to Market project methodologies a plus
  • Experience with Couchbase a plus
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools and statistical modeling in R or Python a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
