As an Onboarding Manager (OBM) you will report to the Onboarding Team Manager. The Onboarding Manager is responsible for onboarding new customers with a core focus on Time-to-Value and CSAT. They will own and drive the initial kickoff, stakeholder identification, enablement, and activation of Sigma solutions. They will work across the business and with our partners to identify and remove blockers to activation. Once complete, they will hand off to the Customer Success Manager who will drive long-term value with the customer.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive new customer onboarding with a core focus on Time-to-Value within a specified timeframe.
  • Define path to successful onboarding based on proactively understanding customer’s business’ needs and purchase drivers for Sigma.
  • Be an expert in setting the right customer expectations for onboarding (i.e. “first value” use case) relative to broader data analytics strategy and business intelligence needs. 
  • Drive accountability of the customer to define the path to first value working closely with Sales and Customer Success Managers.
  • Manage and own key customer milestones: sales handoff (internal), initial onboarding kickoff, enablement, training, first value use case activation, go-live, and handoff to CS. 
  • Ensure solution enablement in customer’s organization by identifying key users of the Sigma platform and educating them on how to use Sigma.
  • Create a strong feedback loop on onboarding enhancements to Education, Product, Engineering, Support and Sales.
  • Raise risk and drive accountability through the red account program to remove onboarding blockers.   

Qualifications We Need

  • Experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence concepts and Analytics.
  • 2+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management or similar role.
  • 4+ years experience in client-facing role(s), preferably in a B2B environment SaaS organization.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to quantify and translate complex problems into solutions. 
  • Proven track record of deliverable-based customer relationship management.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience.

Nice to Have

  • Consulting Experience on time-focused deliverables
  • Software Training Experience or a transferable training skill
  • Project or program management skills
