Job Description

General Summary
The Onboarding Specialist serves as the primary point of contact from the moment an offer is accepted through to a new hires’ first few weeks/months. This person will be responsible for all elements of the onboarding process, as well as ongoing support for employees within the Studio.

Job Functions

  • Track and facilitate all elements of the new hire experience for both on-site and remote employees to ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all relocation needs including new hire travel, recruiting travel and Studio visits, as well as establishing and maintaining communication with appropriate vendors (i.e., rental search assistance, lodging, transportation, etc.).
  • Facilitate and track all visa and immigration-related processes for new hires and current employees.
  • Maintain and administer onboarding software, systems and databases.
  • Coordinate with department leaders to schedule and facilitate weekly orientation and onboarding schedule.
  • Facilitate 90-day evaluation process using emPerform software, and conduct routine check-ins with new hires to collect feedback on onboarding experience, as well as generate and distribute reports to relevant parties.
  • Partner with the Communications Department to facilitate New to the Crew newsletters.
  • Facilitate all internal status changes and offboarding paperwork, and schedule relevant meetings with HR Manager(s).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in an office environment, preferably in a Human Resources capacity.
  • Experience with UKG Onboarding, preferred.
  • Experience with Greenhouse Recruiting, a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels within the organization.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information.
