Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is now looking for an Onboarding specialist!
Our Onboarding team is focused on delivering a signature WOW experience for our new hires. As an Onboarding Specialist you are the first point of contact for a new hire and the hiring manager from the point an offer is accepted. You are responsible for preparing the new hire for their IBM career and ensure that everything is ready for their arrival at IBM on day 1. You will also support them through their first week while ensuring the manager is prepared to receive their newest IBMer.

• First point of contact for new employee and hiring manager from offer accept through onboarding.
• Processing new hire via applicant tracking system assuring compliance within IBM and country hiring and onboarding policies and legal requirements
• Monitoring requests and delivery of all provisioning items (laptop badge IDs)
• Facilitate country onboarding session
• Communication with new hires and hiring managers
• Creation of hiring letter and onboarding documents
• Fa cilitating and ordering of the new hire packages
• Collaboration with local onsite IBM teams (recruitment security hiring manager)
• Ensure employee data collected at the onboarding stage reaches HR system(s) in a timely .

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What you will bring to the team:

• Ideally 4 years previous working experience in client management role Fluent in English and German
• Good interpersonal and communication skills Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Orientation on detail & Precision
• Passion for new technologies and Agile way of working

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points but not necessary you can learn them at IBM:

• Having experience in onboarding area or knowing SAP Success Factors tool is a plus. Speaking any other European language.
