Department Description:

Toyota’s OneTech Division is looking for highly motivated and qualified Trainees. OneTech provides thousands of technology solutions and services that support the customer and vehicle lifecycle as well as the entire enterprise. We are a multi-disciplinary source of technology expertise, research, development, sourcing, strategy, and procurement. The OneTech Trainee collaborates and partners with IT colleagues, Toyota business units, and stakeholders to contribute to the accomplishment of corporate goals and bring innovative solutions to the automotive and mobility industries’ biggest challenges. Ultimately, the One Trainee will be integral to the satisfaction our company brings to our customers and dealers.

Key Responsibilities:

The OneTech Trainee can look forward to gaining experience in the “Toyota Way” as well as in the following areas (sample listing):

• Software and System Development

Develop innovative solutions for Toyota, Lexus divisions

• Business Requirements and Process

Determine business requirements; develop/review business processes to ensure efficiencies

• Competitive Strategy

Develop/implement IT business strategies to support Company vision and goals

• Technology R&D

Contributions toward advanced technology research and development supporting IT trends and products

• Architecture and Data

Support emerging technology, architecture, and data management

• Vendor Management

Work with large IT vendors and contract management

• IT Security

Interface with information risk management and information confidentiality to ensure the highest level of corporate systems security

Skills & Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

• Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher

• Possess strong technical expertise, business sense and communication skills

• Previous IS/IT related work experience

• Must have lawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both now and in the future.

Location:

This position will be located at Toyota’s corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.
