Job Description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for reviewing new Online Deposit Account Opening application. This position will help expand existing customer base and the sales and service cultures, and empowering customers to spend life wisely. Responsible for multitasking a variety of other job duties, such as, assisting with Online Chat and Inbound calls. Responsible for being in compliance with all laws, regulations, and corporate policies by performing the following essential duties.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Demonstrates and promotes high ethical standards and behaviors in accordance with the values of First United: knowing, living, and doing what's right.
  • Builds internal and external relationships through exceptional problem resolution, ownership, and follow-through. Promotes teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration.
  • Help assist with reviewing all new Online Deposit Account Opening applications.
  • Ensure that all new accounts that opened are notified within a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all pending applications are contacted to help assist with taking their application to the next step.
  • Be cautions of all if any, red flags for fraud when reviewing ODAO Applications.
  • Master the Primary Purpose and Essential Duties of the Senior Relationship Banker role.
  • On high call volume days and when needed, help assist with inbound calls within Customer Care Department.
  • Help assist with Online Chat as necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures, including security, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
  • Any other duties assigned by ODAO Manager.
  • Dresses Professionally.

Education and Work Experience

  • Prior Relationship Banker experience required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of New Account Opening required.

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, & Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent Customer Service & phone etiquette.
  • Excellent verbal/written skills
  • Must be dependable and a team player.
