On the Pando Design System team, we explore and solve problems at the intersection of design and engineering. We are currently building a React focused design system in hopes of making it fully agnostic with forward-thinking, unlike any other we have seen! Pando is focused on flexibility, accessibility and performance and its layered libraries enable utilization with any Javascript framework.
In this role, you will help support 40+teams across all of Pluralsight's products, improving code quality, scalability, efficiency and the experience for our customers.
What you'll contribute to:

• The libraries that make up the Pando Design System
• User support through documentation and hands-on assistance
• Understand, practice, and advocate for Engineering@Pluralsight principles and practices
• Inspire and support fellow engineers. Champion the Engineering community at Pluralsight through leadership; upskill everyone around you.

What we're looking for:

• Frontend focus - you have 7+ recent years of frontend experience or 5+ recent years working on design systems
• Framework familiarity - you have demonstrable experience with React, Javascript, Next.js, and Node. SolidJS is a plus.
• Systems thinker - you consider broad architectural implications in solutions; have shipped and supported general library code for a broad user base. You have a foundational understanding and experience with topics related to platform scale, security, availability, deployment and operations
• Design sensibility - you speak the language of designers; are an advocate for the user
• Great teammate: You are a team member first and individual contributor second. A strong collaborator; a trusted teammate; skilled at resolving and working through different ideas. Your success is the team's success
• Self-sufficient - you can work independently, successfully handle your own workload, proactively drive improvements in software design and development practices and take personal accountability and ownership for timelines, delivery, behaviors and self-improvement.
• Innovator: a creative problem-solver who is able to analyze sophisticated problems, break them down into smaller parts, and find effective solutions for customers. You bring innovative ideas to the team, which help us tackle ambitious problems in novel ways.
• Urgent Curiosity: You love to learn, discover new information or solutions quickly, and are highly-motivated to explore, understand new concepts, and apply this understanding as quickly as possible for customers.

You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns.
