In this role, as an Open Stack Engineer, you are required to have a strong Open Stack, Linux and automation skills such as Python, Puppet, Ansible. You like solving complex business problems and finding innovate solutions. Responsibilities will include design and maintain our Open Stack environment, design and maintain availability zones, collaborate with engineers on the design /deployment of our Open Stack environment and collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot, test and build platforms.
To thrive in this role, you will need experience Open Stack, Redhat Open Shift, Kubernetes, clear communication skills and a track record of delivering great results

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Collaboration and Communication. You'll be the point person for developers and operations when they need to find a solution quickly. You'll listen to their needs, find a solution and share it. You're comfortable presenting to leadership everything from system designs to new ideas for technology to production incidents.

• Variety of work. There is no typical day. You will support engineers, checking if something is not working and writing the code it takes to fix it. You must be nimble, adaptable, and flexible.
• You're comfortable working on products with tech never used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution. Fail fast, fail safely.
• You have 7+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent
• 4 + years of experience designing and maintaining Open Stack environment
• 10+ years of experience with Linux configuration and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding and hands on experience of Open Stack core services such as Neutron, Nova, Cinder and Horizon
• Detailed knowledge of one or more public cloud solutions
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Redhat Open Stack

We believe in good faith that compensation for a successful candidate based in Colorado would be between the range listed below.
$87,100 - $191,500
In the state of Colorado, we are offering the following benefits (subject to change):
The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
