Your Role and Responsibilities

As part of our client’s DevOps team you will be responsible for building and setting up new tools and infrastructure working on automating recurrent tasks around infrastructure and processes identifying technical problems and deploying software updates and fixes monitoring to ensure platform availability provide operational support for clients and developers by following service management best practices.

Your primary responsibilities include:
• Deploy and Manage OpenShift Clusters: Install configure and manage OpenShift clusters including setting up the master and worker nodes etc.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and configurations to automate cluster provisioning configuration management and application deployment tasks.
• Utilize tools like Terraform Ansible and/or OpenShift Templates to automate infrastructure setup and configuration.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with the architecture and components of OpenShift including master nodes worker nodes etc routers and registries.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker including creating container images managing image registries and working with Dockerfiles and container runtimes.
• Ability to install configure and upgrade OpenShift clusters.
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible Terraform or OpenShift’s built-in tools like OpenShift Templates and Operators.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in an OpenShift environment.
