Your Role at Baxter

This is where my hands make life-sustaining products.

Sets up and operates automation equipment for manufacturing operations as specified by drawings, procedures, specifications, and work orders by performing the following duties.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operates extrusion/compounding automated and semi automated equipment by following system specifications.
• Maintains and cleans the equipment, area and auxiliary equipment. Able to perform small corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
• Responsible for documenting all batch-related and test results information. All required documentation must be well maintained.
• Able to operate the equipment and make appropriate parameter adjustments to maintain the product within set parameters if required.
• Required to communicate well with others and assist project teams when required.
• Well understanding of measurement equipment is required.
• Able to keep track of process performance as yields, defective rate, cycle times, etc8.Complete daily standard work
• Available for overtime during the week and weekends.
• Ability to put on proper PPE

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training and cleanroom manufacturing experience a plus. Prior experience in running cleanroom equipment preferred
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Digital Literacy: General knowledge of windows application programs; spreadsheet software, word Processing software and specific applications like PRM's and Assemble and Pack

• Extensive physical activity is needed to perform this role
• Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Picking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive motion
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs mechanical or skilled trade tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
