Operating System Database Test Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of team Working for IBM leading Operating system database development you will be participating in several phases of testing the database and quality assurance of the operating system database by collaborating with development.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of team Working for IBM leading Operating system database development
• Actively collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in numerous test phases (FVT FVTR BVT …) of the product lifecycle.
• Development of a quality test plan.
• Test automation test execution issue management.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in relational database.
• Strong skills in C programming
• Strong skills in SQL and concepts of relational database.
• Expertise with test automation tools.
• Proven Debugging troubleshooting problem-solving skills.
• Proven Interpersonal soft oral and written communication skills.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations (worldwide).

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Hands on experience of working on any database using SQL.
• Prior test automation expertise
• Good Scripting skills (pyhton perl etc.)
• Passionate about Functional Verification
• Ability to articulate and compare alternatives approaches.
• Leading teams and mentoring less experienced team members
• Strong debugging and Problem Solving skills
