Operating Systems QA Engineer

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

• work with Team members from Taiwan and India.

• Configure HW Test bed setups in the Lab.

• Raise HW config tickets if the HW is in the Shared Lab.

• Execute Test cases.

• Support in the Log review.

• Provide status update and ask for help when needed.

• Attend Staff and other Team meetings.

Requirement

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

• 3 - 5 years of experience.

• Proven hands-on expertise and Proficiency in one of the Operating Systems (VMware, Windows, RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux and Citrix XenServer).

• Good knowledge on one of the domains (Server, Storage, Networking) 

• Good to have understanding and experience on Python scripting, Ansible and Jenkins that supports CI/CD and Framework design (BDD or Robogalaxy or similar)

• Hands on experience in configuring Server Test bed setups, Networking and Storage.

• Insight into OS Certifications (HLK, VMware VIVA/workbench, rhcert, SUSE Yes Cert kit) will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
