The Operation Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the administrative operational functions of the Home Services teams. Overseeing the day-to-day onboarding and offboarding of Technicians and Field Management. Works with vendors and other AMH departments to ensure processes are coordinated to meet the department's need. Acts as a liaison between the team and the department to ensure operations are being delivered effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Daily interacts directly with Field and Home Services personnel, In-House Purchase Order (PO) team, Accounts Payable (AP), and external vendors to coordinate delivery/replenishment orders of uniforms. Processes vendor issues, requests, and communication. Sends quarterly uniform forecasting reports for the replenishment of uniform inventory.
- Processes the onboarding and offboarding of all field staff for In-House and Home Services. Communicates with management and HR on status of employment. Orders and cancels uniforms, credit accounts/credit cards, and storage facilities in all markets.
- Maintains data sheets for necessary markets with all pertinent information on staff including addresses, uniform sizes, storage unit information, direct reports, etc. for use by managers. Maintains all necessary Excel sheets utilized for visual tracking in Power BI of Technicians by types (Field Technician Maintenance (FTM)/Paint/Landscape/Lead, etc.) in each market, as well as open requisitions for all IHM/Home Services positions in those markets.
- Continuously monitors IHM storage logs, personnel, and account tracking spreadsheets, tied directly to IHM and Home Services. Provides reporting support by generating and preparing information, distributed to all levels throughout the organization as requested.
- Extracts and compiles acquisition data from various software/sources and provides information to requested management.
- Updates, maintains, and tracks IT tickets for new hires pertaining to department related tasks and assists management with entering and tracking of tickets.
- Acts as liaison with Property Management (PM), Vendor Management (VM), Purchase Order team, AP, various departments, and Vendors, researching charges, account lockouts, investigating proper procedures and more streamlined ways of doing things, training on IHM/Home Services procedures. "Point person" for Field Staff, PM Staff, various departments, and vendors - researching and connecting appropriate parties for different scenarios.
Requirements:
- High school GED or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year in a Coordinator role within a fast-paced environment
- Single family home Property Maintenance background a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to assist others
- Ability to solve and provide appropriate solutions

- Solid verbal and written communication skills
