Job Description

We are looking for an operations data analyst to look at keydata and information points that will help identify business opportunities. Youwould be responsible for identifying and solving issues relating to theperformance of the business operations. To do so, vast amounts of data andinformation must be analyzed and reviewed with the cooperation of theoperations management and engineering departments.

In this role, you should have a background in data andbusiness analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. Ifyou also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we-d like to meetyou. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help usmake better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical specifications
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Analyze data andinformation to identify business opportunities
• Work closely withexecutive management to achieve outcomes based on company goals
• Enhance workflow andcross-departmental engagements
• Collaborate with theoperations and engineering team to improve cost-effectiveness acrossoperational platforms
• Create daily/monthly/quarterlyreports to management on key findings and assessments
• Keep updated on industryand market trends
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as an analyst in a professional setting
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience as a BI Developer
• Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
