General position summary:

The Operatonal Analytics Coordiantor will be expected to create and develop relevant reporting and dashboards to provide visibility to end users. As well as provide administrative support to the rate filing team, data analytics group, operations and customer services departments for Suddath Government Services

This position reports directly to the Operational Analytics Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in the use of reporting analysis tools.
  • Proficient in the use of many different Microsoft applications like Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Extract data from data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems.
  • Understand key business drivers and data capture methods
  • Develop / Create models and ad hoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with analytics management
  • Maintain and prepare reports, dashboards, and data collection for key areas of the business unit to include SCAC analytics, capacity management, agent hauling, claims spend, etc
  • Collaborate with management team pertaining to rate filing strategy, SCAC analytics, business development and survey collection
  • Assist and prepare domestic rate schedules and submit data for management approval.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); some college work preferred; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in an analytical position preferred.
  • MS Power BI Dashboard experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze data to identify opportunities and discrepancies
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly customer service oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work

  • Ability to work under deadlines and specific time frames
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
