We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant, to join our Operational Excellence team within Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO). This role is responsible for improving service quality for IOO clients by collaborating with multiple operations across the globe. This individual will use their strong knowledge of problem solving, project management, and relationship building to drive measurable improvement in client service quality, operating excellence and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Business Process Management - Senior Consultant:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key business processes that are pain points currently and designing an initiative that will help resolve the issue and bring forth change management methodologies to ensure understanding and implementation by the key stakeholders.
- Oversee aspects of our operational oversight program including; service level descriptions, key performance indicators and change agenda.
- Lead the execution of cross-functional projects aligned to strategic objectives by designing tactics that will deliver business objectives and strategy and identify impact on applications and business functions, justify required level of investment and ensure risks are considered.
- Lead cross-functional stakeholders through resolving a business issue through virtual workshops, discussions, and co-creating working groups to determine new ways of working that will improve the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Define operational procedures and methods and recommend changes for improvement -- with an emphasis on standardization, automation and efficiency
- Demonstrate a passion and a firm belief in Op-Ex systems and methods.
- Cultivate relationships within the division and across the Northern Trust enterprise.
Requirements of the Business Process Management - Senior Consultant:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Process Analysis, Continuous Improvement or equivalent.
- Must be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and facilitator with strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Passion for the customer experience and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong project management capabilities, PMP certification a plus.
- Exceptional influencing skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Self-motivated critical thinker that can drive organizational change.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint ; presentation skills required with ability to develop story board and management presentations
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau data visualization software a plus
