About the Role:
The Operational Excellence Lead drives the execution of our Operational Excellence strategy and program based on industry-leading continuous improvement processes, systems, and practices. This team member identifies and facilitates opportunities for change that can support the future direction of the organization. The position is responsible for the development of tools, methods, processes, and automation that will result in significant process improvement across functions including: Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, Sales, Compliance, and Finance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
  • Development of consistent frameworks to document processes
  • Create scoring framework to drive decisions around: elimination, automation, centralization, localization
  • Employ Lean Process Improvement tactics for all processes (automated, human, hybrid)
  • Manage Halo's Automation Platform and Services
  • Train functional teams on the operation of Halo's Automation Platform
  • Measure efficiency through core KPIs: FTEs, Throughput, Time per task, Quality
  • Plan, lead and execute the implementation of the Lean Process Improvement across functions
  • Support in preparing updates and supporting documents
  • Help creating the culture of "One Group", by fostering knowledge transfer and collaboration across teams, sharing and celebrating successes
  • Manage projects from inception to delivery, creating and managing against detailed project plans/budgets/schedules
  • Provides timely and regular status reporting to management and project stakeholders
  • Manages project resources and budgeted costs, forecasting needs and requirements as necessary
  • Participates in project meetings to help define project scope and objectives
  • Facilitates project meetings across all levels of project stakeholders

Required Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of Operational process improvement experience, preferably in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or FinTech (Derivatives, OTC, and Fixed Income experience a plus).
  • Technical proficiency with Visio, Process Mapping, SQL, Data APIs, Lean Six Sigma, UIPath, OpenBots preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited University.
