Job Description

As an Operational Review Analyst, you will lead the independent review and testing of both controls and established processes. Assist in creating a monitoring plan (i.e testing) to find areas of improvement. Work with the lines of business and assist with communicating review results, and opportunities, make recommendations and root cause analysis on loan documentation and processes to internal partners. Execute on the assigned monitoring plans and testing activities.
Responsibilities

  • Review documentation of control evaluation work papers, retention, and remediation of reviewer's commentary.
  • Complete operational reviews and control testing timely and articulate findings and/or potential concerns with controls/processes.
  • Review various reports and systems to identify potential gaps in the process.
  • Follow written policies, standards, and procedures for how the remediation and monitoring programs are designed to function.
  • Collaborate with indirect partners and our internal lines of business and serve as the subject matter expert on processes, procedures, and operational reviews.
  • Analyze and make decisions on pre/post-funded loans received through various lending platforms provided by indirect lending relationships.
  • Complete transactional testing and document validation to ensure requirements are being met, make appropriate decisions on the adequacy of documentation, and communicate with various partners to correct errors or oversights.
  • Identify and escalate issues with loan volumes as they relate to dealers and Fintech's.
  • Complete loan disbursements, communicate and/or apply prompt and accurate adjustments to loans as well as unwinding/buying back indirect loans and loan file audits as they relate to our indirect partners and Fintech's.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent


Experience:

  • 1 Year - Lending, quality assurance, audit or related
