Operational Technology Analyst

Dark Wolf Solutions (Dark Wolf) is looking for a highly motivated, energetic Operational Technology Analyst to join our team in supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) with the research, analysis, test, and design (as needed) of software and hardware for rapid fielding. The ideal candidate will have a solid and broad technical foundation with an ability to research new technologies and quickly pivot to address emerging requirements. This position is located in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) with flexibility for some remote work. Duties may include but not be limited to the following:

• Serve as the technical expert, working in concert with the Project Manager to provide expertise and solutions on a variety of technologies
• Perform technical research utilizing a variety of sources to assess capabilities and tools and ensure solutions meet mission requirements
• Assess computer hardware components, such as Internet of Things (IoT), processors, circuit boards, memory devices and routers, mobile devices, or computers
• Provide a quantitative assessment of software, measuring sustainability, maintainability, and usability to inform high-level decisions on future use and/or specific areas for software improvement as needed
• Troubleshoot concerns with hardware and software
• Evaluate current and future operational tools and processes
• Document technical work and results for internal and external use
• Strong understanding of security, and security assessments based on NIST 800 and DISA STIGs 
• Directly interface with customers, subcontractors, and vendors to communicate assessment results, to include challenges and alternate solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in systems engineering or comparable area
• Holistic understanding of computer engineering
• Experience in one of the following areas:
• Hardware design, electrical circuits, signal analysis, digital logic design, and/or computer organization
• Software programming, algorithms, and/or operating systems
• Software/hardware interaction
• DoD experience
• Ability to travel as needed
• Minimum Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• • Experience with IoT, network protocols, and/or secure blockchain systems a plus.
