Operations Administrator

Underground Solutions is looking for an experienced Operations Administrator.

Underground Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, provides infrastructure technologies for water, sewer and conduit applications. Our Fusible PVC products contain a proprietary PVC formulation that, when combined with our patented fusion process, results in a monolithic, fully restrained, gasket-free, leak-free piping system making them the most innovative solutions for pipeline installation and rehabilitation. 

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Administer project set up in ERP system including job creation, contract billing, and uploading of bid sheets
• Prepare weekly timecards, prevailing wage, certified payroll and per diem for field technicians
• Confirm quantities, code invoices and coordinate payment for vendors
• Coordinate marketing efforts with Corporate Marketing department
• Provide direct support to Finance and Operations teams
• Coordinate office events including annual Sales meetings
• Answer phone calls, distribute mail, order supplies and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience related to recordkeeping & payroll preferred; high school diploma required
• Solid experience in all Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
• Must be well organized and able to create systems to complete/track tasks most efficiently.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
