Your Opportunity

The Stantec Texas Buildings Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide organizational and administrative support to our team. The position will play a key role by providing support to the local project management and operations team.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in maintaining accurate and up to date staffing information
  • Analyze overall project staffing for our Texas Offices
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax, and mailing, maintain supplies and UPS/FEDEX
  • Supporting conformance with company policies, procedures, and ISO-certified Integrated Management System
  • Prepare documents in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and other programs
  • Prepare, edit, and format email correspondence
  • Processes expense reports, invoices, and orders
  • Handle administrative requests and queries from leadership, project managers and engineers


Your Capabilities and Credentials

The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate will also possess the following qualifications:
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Detail-focused individual, who can learn and adapt quickly
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast pace working environment
  • Ability to work with multiple project managers to assist in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills
  • Enjoys working independently and within a team environment
  • Advanced expertise in the Windows environment, including the full suite of Microsoft office programs, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Adobe Reader/Writer.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' work experience in required. Experience in A/E (engineering, architectural or construction) consulting firm is preferred.
