The mission of the International Finance Corporation (IFC),the private sector arm of the World Bank, is to promote sustainable privatesector investment in developing countries, helping to reduce poverty andpromote shared prosperity. IFC promotes sustainable development by providinginvestment and advisory services, including promoting sound environmental,social and governance (ESG) policies and practices. IFC's ESG SustainabilityES&G Advice and Solutions Department (CEG) makes an important contributionto IFC's mandate - deploying ESG expertise to clients and other partners aroundthe globe.

CEG's Advisory, Knowledge and Learning team (CEGKL) providesknowledge and information support to IFC staff and clients on best-in-class ESGrisk management, working closely with ESG specialists and operations staffacross units and geographies.

IFC is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our ESG Data,Tools and Learning team. The ESG Operations Analyst will report to the SeniorOperations Officer: ESG Data, Tools and Learning, based in Washington, D.C.

The Operations Analyst leads the development andmodernization of a range of CEG technology tools and websites, focusing onenhancing digital capabilities within the ESG domain.

Duties and Accountabilities

• Oversee digital projects for external and internal websites and tools, such as www.ifc.org/sustainability and www.ifc.org/corporategovernance, ensuring integration and user experience. This includes managing external facing tools and internal platforms for due diligence and collaboration.• Act as a key advisor to ESG Specialists, providing guidance on technology solutions that align with business needs. Collaborate to develop web-based tools for improved project risk management, analysis, and capacity building in ESG for IFC clients and partners.• Demonstrate a strong interest in emerging technologies like advanced search (i.e., facilitate knowledge discoverability), artificial intelligence for knowledge management and learning (KML), Geospatial information systems (GIS), and data analysis. Proactively recommend feasible technologies for enhancing IFC's ESG due diligence processes and client engagements.• Manage procurement processes for contracts with external vendors and partners on web tools and technologies. Ensure budget oversight within required parameters and timeframes in coordination with the CEGKL team lead. • Manage the review process for ESG websites and tools across various IFC departments (Communications, Corporate Risk, Privacy team, Legal, IT, etc.). Coordinate with technical support for site maintenance and liaise with the World Bank Security Unit for site accreditation and security.• Leverage website and social media metrics to boost engagement and inform CEG outreach strategies. Report trends and suggest optimization strategies for product and tool usage.• Adhere to best practices in content categorization, metadata, and information classification. Maintain relevant procedures.• Collaborate with CEG Communications and ESG Specialists on website updates. Propose cross-platform content strategies and manage social media promotions for CEG activities. Oversee the IFC Sustainability LinkedIn site.• Develop and conduct technical training sessions for CEG staff on new and upcoming digital tools in collaboration with the learning team.• Create basic graphics and design elements for websites and social media campaigns, ensuring adherence to IFC's branding and graphic standards.• Assist with other projects and duties as required.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor's degree (a Master's degree is preferred) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Information Management. Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Sustainability, Knowledge Management, or another related discipline).• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience related to digital project management. Work associated with sustainable development is a plus. • Demonstrate expertise in web design and a track record of successfully leading user acceptance testing processes.• Exhibit exemplary project management skills, including managing projects of varying timeframes, coordinate with vendors and consultants and engage with multiple stakeholders to develop high-quality and high-utility websites and web-based tools on schedule and on budget.• Display sound facilitation and presentation skills, capable of leading requirements gathering sessions with a non-technical audience, delivering webinar presentations, capturing and organizing knowledge, and effectively following up with stakeholders.• Be a proactive self-starter with a proven ability to quickly grasp client and partner needs and propose innovative solutions to meet those defined needs.• Possess strong organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks, adapt to frequent and unexpected changes, and perform well under tight deadlines.• Exhibit clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, identify issues, and recommend solutions effectively to non-technical audiences. • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, influence team dynamics positively, and establish effective networks across organizational boundaries.• Demonstrate proficiency in a range of tools and technologies, including SharePoint, Drupal, HTML/HTML5, CSS, responsive web design, Adobe Creative Design Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver), online survey tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, MS Forms), and advanced Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Mastery of web content/document management, metadata, and taxonomy, and familiarity with selecting appropriate off-the-shelf tools in various contexts.• Familiarity with IFC/World Bank operations, procedures, and organizational culture is a plus.
